Seven new 'Benjamin Button' movie clips

David Fincher's "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" is undoubtedly the film I am looking forward to the most this holiday season.

I've been repeatedly watching the trailers and TV spots for quite a while now, and the stunning beauty of the footage just doesn't let go of me. The story, of course, sounds just as compelling.

The film stars Brad Pitt in the role of Benjamin Button, a man who’s born under unusual circumstances and starts aging backwards. Cate Blanchett, Tilda Swinton and Julia Ormond also star.

Earlier this week, the film took home five Golden Globe nominations, which is a good sign at this stage. Yahoo! recently released seven new clips from the film, and you can check them out below.

"The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" opens everywhere Dec. 25, 2008. Don't miss it.

66th Annual Golden Globes nominations

"The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," "Frost/Nixon" and "Doubt" topped the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards nominations Thursday with five each.

David Fincher's "Button" and Ron Howard's "Frost/Nixon" made it into the category of best drama, along with "The Reader," "Revolutionary Road" and "Slumdog Millionaire."

As far as the best comedy or musical category is concerned, the nominees are "Burn After Reading," "Happy-Go-Lucky," "In Bruges," "Mamma Mia!" and "Vicky Cristina Barcelona."

As expected, Anne Hathaway scored a nomination as best actress in a drama for her role in "Rachel Getting Married." She competes against Meryl Streep ("Doubt"), Angelina Jolie ("Changeling"), Kate Winslet ("Revolutionary Road") and Kristin Scott Thomas ("I've Loved You So Long").

Moving on to the best actor in a drama, it includes nominations for Brad Pitt in "Button," Sean Penn in "Milk," Leonardo DiCaprio in "Revolutionary Road," Mickey Rourke in "The Wrestler" and Frank Lamgella in "Frost/Nixon."

Rebecca Hall, Sally Hawkins, Frances McDormand, Meryl Streep and Emma Thompson all go head to head in the category of best actress in a comedy or musical. On the side of the men, the nominees are James Franco, Dustin Hoffman, Javier Bardem, Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson.

International 'Benjamin Button' trailer hits!

I usually prefer domestic trailers to international ones, but the latest trailer for David Fincher's upcoming drama "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" is definitely an exception.

As you can see after the jump, this new international preview includes some stunning footage from the anticipated film, which stars Brad Pitt as a man who starts to age backwards after being born under unusual circumstances.

While I certainly enjoyed the first domestic trailer as well, I find this one to be a lot more nuanced, especially because it doesn't reveal that much about the whole story line. And the quality of this footage is just dazzling, don't you think?

Cate Blanchett, Tilda Swinton, Julia Ormond and Elias Koteas co-star. "Benjamin Button" comes to theaters Dec. 25, 2008.
