Maria Bello, Craig T. Nelson board 'Company Men'

Craig T. Nelson and the charming Maria Bello are set to star in John Wells’ upcoming drama "The Company Men." Ben Affleck, Kevin Costner and Tommy Lee Jones are already part of the project, which is set during a slowing economy and follows a successful career man (Affleck) who struggles with his financial situation after he suddenly loses his job. Costner plays his brother-in-law, and Jones stars as a partner in the firm.

According to Variety, Bello is playing the vice president of human resources, and Nelson plays the firm's CEO. Wells also wrote the script for "Men." Bello was last seen in "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor," and Nelson recently starred in "Blades of Glory." By the way, the still you see above is a shot from the film (via WorstPreviews).

Costner, Lee Jones are 'Company Men'

Kevin Costner and Tommy Lee Jones have signed on to join Ben Affleck in John Wells’ upcoming drama “The Company Men."

According to Variety, the film is set during a slowing economy and follows a successful career man (Affleck) who struggles with his financial situation after he suddenly loses his job.

Costner is set to play his brother-in-law, a drywall installer who helps him get a construction job. Jones stars as a senior partner in the firm.

Wells wrote the script and will direct the flick. He previously wrote and directed several “ER” episodes and co-created television’s “Third Watch.”

Costner recently starred in "Swing Vote" and "Mr. Brooks." He's also gearing up to direct "The One." As for Jones, his recent credits include "No Country For Old Men" and "In the Valley of Elah."

Ben Affleck in talk to join ‘Company’

Ben Affleck is in negotiations to star in John Wells’ upcoming drama “The Company Men,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Written by Wells, the film is set during a slowing economy and follows a man who struggles with his financial situation after losing his job.

That’s pretty much all we know about the project at this time. Wells previously wrote and directed several “ER” episodes. He also co-created television’s “Third Watch.”

Affleck recently boarded the big-screen version of Chuck Hogan’s novel “The Prince of Thieves,” which he will rewrite, direct and possibly star in.

The actor will next be seen in Ken Kwapis’ “He’s Just Not That Into You,” followed by Kevin Macdonald’s “State of Play” next year.
