Silly new 'Saw 3D' trailer debuts!

A new trailer for the upcoming "Saw 3" debuted online today, and alas, it's one of those making sure we as cinemagoers know it's actually really in 3D. Yes, we do know things will fly at our faces, etc.

Anyway, you can check it out below, because it features bits of new footage as well. It also tells us we'll be part of the game, but I doubt that. 3D can be cool, but it's not THAT advanced yet, huh?

As a marketing tool, it seems to work though, so good for them. "Saw 3D" opens Oct. 22, 2010. Tobin Bell, Cary Elwes, Costas Mandylor, Betsy Russell, Sean Patrick Flanery and Gina Holden co-star.

Here's a pretty cool new motion poster for Kevin Greutert's upcoming horror sequel "Saw 3D," which hits Oct. 22, 2010. As you can see, it's Jigsaw's face in a bunch of pieces. You can admire it after the jump.

Teaser trailer for 'Saw 3D' ('Saw VII') hits

Here is the teaser trailer for Kevin Greutert's upcoming horror sequel "Saw 3D" (also "Saw VII"). The trailer says it's the final "Saw," but I guess that remains to be seen. The film opens Oct. 22, 2010.

Cary Elwes back for 'SAW VII 3D'

Liondgate has announced that Cary Elwes' Dr. Lawrence Gordon will return in "Saw VII" (also known as "Saw VII 3D"), or also known as the sequel no one really needs. Anyway, Elwes joins a cast that already includes Tobin Bell, Elwes, Costas Mandylor, Betsy Russell, Sean Patrick Flanery and Gina Holden.

In case you missed it: 'Saw VII 3D' date set

A quick peek at the IMDb page for Twisted Pictures' next "Saw" film "Saw VII 3D" shows David Hackl's film will open in theaters Oct. 22, 2010. And yes, as the title suggests, it will be shot and released in 3D.

Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton return to write the seventh installment in the horror series. As you may have heard already, an eighth film will also happen. In fact, we'll "Saw" films as long as they make money.

Now, "Saw VI," the latest sequel, really tanked at the box office (the total currently stands at $27 million domestically), and Lionsgate recently blamed it on "Paranormal Activity." What a lame excuse.

So yeah, look for more Jigsaw and co. next year... and the one after that... and maybe even the one after...
