Stars line up for ‘Rogue’s Gallery’

Maggie Q and Ving Rhames are just two of many to join Fouad Mikati’s upcoming action comedy “Rogue’s Gallery,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Written by Brian Watanabe and Abe Levy, the film centers on the battle between government spy teams in an underground facility. Ellen Barkin, Rob Corddry, Adam Scott and Odette Yustman co-star.

Richard Kelly’s Darko Entertainment handles the production of the project, which kicked off principal photography last week in Los Angeles. Darko is also currently working on “I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell,” an adaptation of Tucker Max’s famous memoir.

Maggie Q most recently starred in Marcel Langenegger’s thriller “Deception.” She will next be seen in “New York, I Love You.” Rhames was last seen in “I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry.” Scott is currently onscreen in “Step Brothers.”

Although I have no clue what this flick will look like when it hits theaters, I can only say the idea sounds pretty cool. Now that the film already boasts an A-list cast, let’s just hope the script is worth the wait.
