Opening this week are "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel," Guy Ritchie's "Sherlock Holmes" with Robert Downey Jr., and Nancy Meyers' "It's Complicated" with Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin.

Watch six funny ‘Tropic Thunder’ clips

Today we have six brand-new clips from Ben Stiller’s upcoming action comedy “Tropical Thunder,” which stars Stiller, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., Jay Baruchel and Steve Coogan. In the flick, a group of actors making a war movie are forced to become the very soldiers they are portraying.

Most of the clips below contain some kind of footage from the trailer, but they’re still funny to take a look at. “Tropic Thunder” opens everywhere Aug. 13, 2008. Enjoy.
