R.J. Cutler to direct 'Au Pairs' for Warner Bros.

R.J. Cutler, the man behind last year's extraordinary documentary "The September Issue," will next direct "The Au Pairs" for Warner Bros. The film is based on Melissa de la Cruz's series of books, which includes four titles.

The story follows three teenage girls as they take summer jobs as au pairs for a rich family living in the Hamptons. I'm surprised to see Cutler helming a teenage movie for a big studio, but I'm sure he can handle it. (Source: Variety)

The plot: This documentary takes a closer look at what goes down at Vogue in New York and how Anna Wintour puts together the magazine's popular September issue.

Our thoughts: I’m someone who couldn’t care less about the world of fashion, but I’ll tell you this: I absolutely adored R.J. Cutler’s documentary “The September Issue,” which offers cinemagoers a detailed look into the world of Vogue magazine. It’s a truly fascinating film, and not one minute of it is boring or unoriginal.
