Disney's 'Tangled' gets mediocre teaser

Tangled

Luckily, this is only a teaser trailer. Unfortunately, it failed to tease me, so at this point, I couldn't care less about Walt Disney's upcoming animated adventure "Tangled," which opens in theaters Nov. 24, 2010.

Essentially, this the story of Rapunzel (Mandy Moore), who is locked in a hidden tower longing for a big adventure. One day, she takes off on a hilarious, hair-raising escapade with the help of a dashing bandit.

"Tangled" doesn't look all that dull visually, but this teaser started to bore me after the first 30 seconds. If all Rapunzel does it mess with her hair, then where is the real story here? I only hope there's more to it.

New 'Rapunzel' image shows up online

Walt Disney is sending "Rapunzel" to the big screen in 3D in 2010, and a first look at the CGI adventure has hit the Web, courtesy of DisneyPixar.fr. Check out the image scanned from a magazine just above.

Not the most exiting pic, but it sure gives us a clear look at the main character and her awfully long hair. Mandy Moore will voice Rapunzel, and the cast also includes Zachary Levi and Jason Alexander.

In the film, Rapunzel is locked in a hidden tower longing for adventure. Now an imaginative and determined teenager, she takes off on a hilarious, hair-raising escapade with the help of a dashing bandit.
