No beast for Sylvester Stallone in 'Rambo V'

Sylvester Stallone seems to be unable to make up his mind where "Rambo V" should be heading. First, he was supposed to cross the U.S.-Mexican border, and then, he was supposed to hunt down a beast.

Not anymore. In fact, it looks like the fifth installment in the "Rambo" series is now going back to Mexico. As we learned earlier this year, the original idea had our hero cross the border to rescue a kidnapped girl.

In September, however, it was announced that Rambo and his partner Beau Brady would be heading to the Arctic Circle to track down a ruthless beast killing members of a research facility.

Sly will hunt beast in 'Rambo V: The Savage Hunt'

Big "Rambo V" news this morning, as it looks like we finally have some details about the film's official synopsis. Earlier reports of plot details were wrong, but it now looks Sylvester Stallone's Rambo will be battling a nasty beast in the new sequel.

So, here's what happened: Back when Nu Image/Millennium Films greenlit "Rambo V: The Savage Hunt," reports indicated the story would take Rambo to the U.S.-Mexico border to rescue a kidnapped girl. That information, however, was wrong.

It's true! 'Rambo V' is now officially in the works!

Earlier this year, Sylvester Stallone already mentioned he would soon get ready to do another "Rambo." Now, word comes from Variety that Nu Image/Millennium Films has officially greenlit a fifth installment. That's right, John Rambo will soon be blowing up plenty of new shit on the big-screen.

This time around, Rambo will head out to rescue a kidnapped young girl close to the U.S.-Mexico border. On his mission, he will battle a whole bunch of nasty human traffickers and drug lords. And yes, Stallone will be back to direct and star in the fifth film.
