Poster mania: 'Jennifer's Body;' 'Brothers' & more

Here are the latest movie posters, which debuted across the Web this week. Let's start with the new one-sheet for Karyn Kusama's upcoming Diablo Cody-scripted horror flick "Jennifer's Body," which stars a hot Megan Fox as a mean girl who gets a kick out of eating boys. Release: Sept. 18, 2009.

Next up is a new poster for Jim Sheridan's new drama remake "Brothers," which stars Natalie Portman, Tobey Maguire and Jake Gyllenhaal. Personally, I absolutely adore this poster, and I hope the film will be as powerful as its trailer makes it out to be. Release is set for December 4.

Scroll down a bit and you'll come across a German poster for Robert Zemeckis's 3D motion capture adventure "A Christmas Carol" with Jim Carrey in several roles. The film will open November 6. Looks sweet. Here's to hoping we get to see a full trailer soon.

Finally, check out this energetic poster for Glenn Ficarra & John Requa's dramedy "I Love You Phillip Morris," starring Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor. This is like the third film this year with "I Love You" in the title after "I Love You, Man" and " I Love You, Beth Cooper." Oh wait, "New York, I Love You" will also open soon.

Zooey Deschanel boards Green's 'Highness'

Zooey Deschanel

The lovely and talented Zooey Deschanel is the latest to board David Gordon Green's upcoming comedy “Your Highness" for Universal.

Written by McBride and Ben Best, the film follows an arrogant prince (McBride) and his brother (Franco), who must show great courage and fulfill a perilous quest to secure the future of his dad’s kingdom.

The Hollywood Reporter says Deschanel will play Belladonna, Franco's virginal bride. Also starring is Natalie Portman, who slips into the role of a badass princess McBride falls in love with.

"Highness" is a project I'm definitely looking forward to. Green did a fab job with "Pineapple Express," and the cast for this one keeps getting better as well.

Deschanel will soon be see in "500 Days of Summer." She also recently starred in the so-so "Yes Man" and ultra-crappy "The Happening."
