Awesome poster for Soderbergh's 'Contagion'

A new poster for Steven Soderbergh's upcoming thriller "Contagion" has debuted online, so check it out in full after the jump; it looks great for an innovative teaser poster. The film's cast includes Matt Damon, Jude Law, Marion Cotillard and Gwyneth Paltrow.

"Contagion," due in theaters Sept. 9, 2011, focuses on the threat posed by a deadly disease and an international team of doctors contracted by the CDC to deal with the outbreak. Laurence Fishburne and Kate Winslet round out the cast.

Count me among those excited to see Soderbergh tackle this sort of material. Although this trailer does not entirely reveal the core of the plot, it sure promises a well shot thriller that will hopefully put a new spin on the those virus outbreak flicks.

Check them out below, because they really do deliver. Character banners are often not as interesting or creative as main feature posters, but someone out there did a fabulous job putting these together.

Adrien Brody cast in Woody Allen film

Adrien Brody, who will next be seen in the horror thriller "Splice," has joined the cast of Woody Allen's upcoming film "Midnight in Paris." Owen Wilson, Marion Cotillard, Rachel McAdams, Kathy Bates and Michael Sheen are already on board. The film jumps into production this summer.

Specific details are unkown, but The Hollywood Reporter says the story follows a family traveling to Paris. More specifically, the party "includes a young engaged couple forced to confront the illusion that a life different from their own is better." Yes, that sounds quite interesting to me at this point.

Brody, an Oscar winner, will also soon be seen in "Predators." As for Woody, he's got "You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger" hitting theaters soon. As far as I'm concerned, I still have to check out his last film "Whatever Works" to catch up.

A new and pretty awesome trailer for Christopher Nolan's upcoming thriller "Inception" has landed online, and you should check it out after the jump. It definitely messed with your mind, but that's what's so intriguing about it. Visuals and direction look stellar, which means this is one to watch out for!

Dom Cobb is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state, when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb's rare ability has made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved.

Rachel McAdams will star in Woody Allen film

Rachel McAdams will be starring in Woody Allen's next movie, which will shoot in the summer. The Hollywood Reporter says plot details are kept under wraps. Owen Wilson and Marion Cotillard co-star, and it seems the story will be set in France.

To tell you the truth, I am exicted to see both McAdams and Cotillard in an Allen flick. McAdams was last seen in "Sherlock Holmes," and she's got "Morning Glory" coming soon. She'll also star in Terrence Malick's new film, which shoots this year as well.

New trailer for Nine

I'm among those who absolutely adored Rob Marshall's prestigious musical "Chicago," and therefore, I'm really looking forward to his next spectacle "Nine," due in theaters everywhere Dec. 25, 2009.

A new feature trailer for the movie has debuted online, and I encourage you to check it out after the jump. No dialogue in this one, really, but instead, you're treated to great visuals and beautiful music.

In the big-screen adaptation of the Broadway show, Daniel Day-Lewis jumps into the role of Guido Contini, a high-profile director struggling to satisfy all the women in his life, including his wife and mistress.
