Linda Hamilton's voice in 'Terminator Salvation'?

Some time ago Linda Hamilton told MTV she may consider doing a last-minute voice-over in McG's upcoming "Terminator Salvation," and apparently, she went ahead and did it.

The folks at Chud say one of their sources who has already seen the film confirmed Hamilton's voice is indeed part of the latest installment in the "Terminator" series.

Apparently it's right at the beginning of the film, and whoever saw the flick said it would fit well.

In the MTV interview, Hamilton said her decision would be based on how she responds to the script and all, so I guess she liked it. Must be a good sign if Sarah Connor herself enjoys the new flick.

Anyway, "Terminator Salvation" opens May 21, 2009, and I really can't wait. The latest trailer still blows me away every time I check it out.

The May 21 release date for McG's "Terminator Salvation" is slowly approaching, but post-production on the film is still fully under way.

Possibly joining the fourth "Terminator" movie in a last-minute deal is Linda Hamilton, who played Sarah Connor in the first two flicks.

In an interview with MTV, Hamilton said she's in talks to do a voice-over in "Salvation."

“My contribution would be voiceover,” she said. “I would probably be very happy to loan my voice depending on what the material is. Wait and see. They’re already writing it. We’ve been negotiating it.”

Even McG already expressed interest in bringing her back in a limited capactiy. "She's the greatest," he said, adding that Sarah is an important part of the franchise mythology.

So, let's hope we'll get to hear Hamilton's voice in the upcoming film. If done right, I'm sure it will create just the effect the filmmakers are hoping for.
