Josh Olson to adapt ‘One Shot’

Screenwriter Josh Olson is set to adapt Lee Child’s mystery novel “One Shot” for Paramount Pictures, according to Variety.

Says the trade: the story centers on a homicide investigator who seeks the truth behind what seems an open-and-shut murder case after a trained military sniper is arrested for shooting five random victims.

Olson is nest known for penning the screenplay for “A History of Violence.” He also wrote the script for “Until Gwen,” which he will also direct.
