Adrien Brody cast in Woody Allen film

Adrien Brody, who will next be seen in the horror thriller "Splice," has joined the cast of Woody Allen's upcoming film "Midnight in Paris." Owen Wilson, Marion Cotillard, Rachel McAdams, Kathy Bates and Michael Sheen are already on board. The film jumps into production this summer.

Specific details are unkown, but The Hollywood Reporter says the story follows a family traveling to Paris. More specifically, the party "includes a young engaged couple forced to confront the illusion that a life different from their own is better." Yes, that sounds quite interesting to me at this point.

Brody, an Oscar winner, will also soon be seen in "Predators." As for Woody, he's got "You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger" hitting theaters soon. As far as I'm concerned, I still have to check out his last film "Whatever Works" to catch up.

Trailer: Sandra Bullock in 'The Blind Side'

Sandra Bullock in The Blind Side

The first trailer for John Lee Hancock's upcoming sports drama "The Blind Side" has just popped up online, and you can check it out right after the jump.

Essentially, the film follows Michael Oher, who everyone believes is the one of the first players to be picked in the year's NFL draft. As a teenager, Oher was homeless and found shelter with a wealthy family.

"Side" is based on Michael Lewis' "The Blind Side: Evolution of the Game," and the film stars Sandra Bullock (she's back to blonde and still looking good), Quinton Aaron, Kathy Bates and Tim McGraw.

With "The Proposal," Bullock's shown us she's still in great shape, and I have no doubts she'll pull this one off as well. "Side" looks a tad too saccharine for my taste at this point, but as long as the story's right, I'm more than willing to sit through a tearjerker.

Kathy Bates goes to 'The Blind Side'

Kathy Bates joins Sandra Bullock in Alcon Entertainment's upcoming football dramatic comedy "The Blind Side."

The film follows Michael Oher, who everyone believes is the one of the first players to be picked in the year's NFL draft. As a teenager, Oher was homeless and found shelter with a wealthy family.

Bullock will play the conservative suburban family's matriarch. According to Variety, Bates is set to play a tutor hired by Bullock's character.

John Lee Hancock, whose credits include "The Rookie" and "The Alamo," wrote the screenplay and will direct the film, which is based on Michael Lewis' "The Blind Side: Evolution of the Game."

Bates rocks, but she's done some things I didn't entirely enjoy, including "The Family That Preys" and "P.S. I Love You." But she did a great job in "Revolutionary Road."
