Justin Theroux to play baddie in 'Your Highness'

Justin Theroux

Justin Theroux is the latest to join David Gordon Green's upcoming comedy “Your Highness," which also stars James Franco, Danny McBride, Natalie Portman and Zooey Deschanel. The film is already shooting, and I just posted an entry about a set photo potentially showing Portman earlier today.

But back to this story. The Hollywood Reporter says Theroux is on board to play a villain. Written by McBride and Ben Best, the film follows an arrogant prince (McBride) and his brother (Franco), who must show great courage and fulfill a perilous quest to secure the future of his dad’s kingdom.

Justin Theroux to direct 'Chief Ron'

Justin Theroux is all set to direct Universal and Imagine's upcoming comedy "Chief Ron," with Brian Grazer on-board to produce, according to Variety.

Inspired by the true story of Chief Ron Roberts, the flick centers on a conman who claims he's Mohegan so he can open a casino.

Jordan Roberts ("Around the Bend") wrote the script. David Gordon Green ("Pineapple Express") will serve as co-executive producer on the project.

Theroux made his directorial debut with 2007's "Dedication." As a screenwriter, he worked on "Tropic Thunder" and "Iron Man 2." Acting gigs include "Mulholland Drive" and "Miami Vice."

Work on 'Iron Man' sequel has begun

In a recent interview with The Los Angeles Times, helmer Jon Favreau said work on the "Iron Man" sequel has already begun.

I know that's not exactly the most exciting information, but at least we know the project is already in development.

Marvel and Paramount are shooting for a late April release date in 2010. The first film opened this May and pulled in $316.4 million domestically.

Penning the script for the anticipated sequel is Justin Terhoux, who most recently co-wrote Ben Stiller's "Tropic Thunder." His acting credits also include "Mulholland Dr.," "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" and "Miami Vice."
