Roll behind the scenes of 'Whip It'

Drew Barrymore celebrates her directorial debut with "Whip It," an upcoming drama centering on Bliss Cavendar (played by Ellen Page), a Texas teenager who finds a way of dealing with her misery after she discovers a roller derby league in Austin.

A new and rather short behind-the-scenes look has hit the Web, and it features a mini interview with Barrymore about what to expect in the film, which opens Oct. 2, 2009. Barrymore, Marcia Gay Harden, Juliette Lewis, Kristen Wiig and Zoe Bell co-star in the film, and you can check out the clip below.

Juliette Lewis joins 'Sympathy for Delicious'

Actress Juliette Lewis is set to join Chris Thornton, Mark Ruffalo and James Franco in Ruffalo's directorial debut "Sympathy for Delicious."

Ruffalo recently broke the news to MTV News, but he did not specify what role Lewis would be playing in the dramedy written by Thornton.

The story of "Delicious" takes place in Los Angeles and focuses on a paralyzed disc jockey who mysteriously becomes a faith healer.

Ruffalo plays a Jesuit priest who helps him explore his new gift and accept its limitations. Franco jumps into the role of a rock singer.

Lewis was last seen in "Catch and Release." She recently wrapped filming for Drew Barrymore's directorial debut "Whip It!"
