Exclusive Interview with Edward Norton for 'Stone'

Edward Norton Interview

Edward Norton, who stars in John Curran's "Stone," recently stopped by in town and was kind enough to sit down with me and chat about the film, which co-stars Robert De Niro and Milla Jovovich.

In "Stone," Robert De Niro plays a parole officer who oversees the case of Edward Norton's character, who's in prison for covering up the murder of his grandparents with a fire. He's hoping for an early release.

Milla Jovovich plays Norton's wife, a sexy woman who attempts to seduce De Niro. Both men have their dark sides, and "Stone" explores how they deal with their predicaments. Enjoy the interview below!

New 'Hot Tub Time Machine' trailer still not funny

Hot Tub Time Machine Red Band Trailer

A new red band trailer for the upcoming comedy "Hot Tub Time Machine" has debuted on the Web, and to be honest, it's not exactly funny. As a matter for fact, it's pretty much as lame as its predecessors.

This comedy follows a group of childish adults who jump into a hot tub and are transported back in time, to when they were much younger. Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson, Clark Duke and John Cusack star.

Steve Pink ("Accepted") directed "Time Machine," which opens March 19, 2010. I know many comedies out there are now trying to mimic the style of "The Hangover" and all, but chances are many will fail.

John Curran to direct Knightley in 'Damned'

John Curran is set to replace Nick Cassavetes as director for Film Department's upcoming period drama "The Beautiful and the Damned."

The film is set during the Roaring '20s and centers on the extravagant lifestyle and turbulent marriage of alcoholic writer F. Scott Fitzgerald and his wife Zelda Sayre, a schizophrenic.

Hanna Weg wrote the script for the film, and Keira Knightley is on board to star.

Curran's credits include the decent "The Painted Veil" and "We Don't Live Here Anymore."

As for Fitzgerald, one of his short stories recenely inspired David Fincher's "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button." Another one of his creations, "The Great Gatsby," will be directed by Baz Luhrmann.

Variety says Cassavetes recently dropped the project but doesn't state the reason.
