Harvey Keitel added to 'Little Fockers' cast

The cast for Paul Weitz's upcoming sequel "Little Fockers" is still growing, and the latest to join he third installment in the popular comedy series is... Harvey Keitel! That's right, Harvey Keitel!

Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Teri Polo, Blythe Danner and Jessica Alba are also part of the upcoming project, which will focus on Pam and Greg (Gaylord) as they deal with having children.

Although details here are still sketchy, John Hamburg, who worked on the script, recently said the main characters will deal with the birth of kids and could end up dealing with the themes of death and divorce.

Jessica Alba to star in 'Little Fockers'

The lovely Jessica Alba is the latest to star in Paul Weitz's upcoming sequel "Little Fockers," the third installment in the popular comedy series following "Meet the Parents" and "Meet the Fockers."

Risky Biz Blog says Alba would play an attractive pharmaceutical rep whose good looks will create trouble for some of the male characters in the film, which follows Pam and Greg as they deal with having kids.

Although details here are still sketchy, John Hamburg, who worked on the script, recently said the main characters will deal with the birth of kids and could end up dealing with the themes of death and divorce.

'Valentine's Day' trailer debuts with all-star cast!

Are you ready for the next "Valentine's Day"? If you plan to take your date to a movie that weekend, why not try Garry Marshall's new romantic comedy, which debuts Feb. 12, 2010 and features an all-star cast?

A teaser for the romance has debuted online, and while it doesn't give us much story, it obviously puts big emphasis on all the big names it features. It's a goal this preview reaches successfully.

Fox to develop 'Fantastic Four' reboot

Fantastic Four

It's been a big day for Marvel news today. First, we learned that Walt Disney is going to acquire Marvel Entertainment for $4 billion, and now comes word that 20th Century Fox is already preparing a "Fantastic Four" reboot.

Variety says the studio has hired Akiva Goldsman to produce the upcoming action film. Michael Green, whose credits include "Smallville," "Everwood" and "Heroes," is set to write the script.

Topher Grace, Emma Roberts board 'Valentine's Day'

Emma Roberts joins her aunt Julia Roberts in Valentine's Day

Topher Grace, Emma Roberts and Hector Elizondo have joined Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Jennifer Garner, Shirley MacLaine, Bradley Cooper and Ashton Kutcher in "Valentine's Day."

Directed by Gary Marshall ("The Princess Diaries," "Runaway Bride") from a script by Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein, the film follows 10 Los Angeles people whose lives intersect on Valentine's Day.

The Hollywood Reporter says Grace plays a mailroom worker who dates Hathaway's character. Roberts is on-board as a teenager trying to sleep with her boyfriend. Elizondo plays MacLaine's husband.

Wow, what a cast! Roberts recenty starred in "Hotel for Dogs." As for Grace, the "That '70s Show" alumnus will soon be seen in "Young Americans." Hector Elizondo's credits include "Chicago Hope," "Monk" and "The Princess Diaries" series.

29th Annual Razzie Award Nominations

Here are the nominees for the 29th Annual Razzie Awards, which will take place Feb. 21, 2009 at the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre in Hollywood.

The nominees for Worst Picture are "Meet the Spartans," "Disaster Movie," "The Happening," "The Hottie and the Nottie," "The Love Guru" and "In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale."

Competing for the Worst Actor award are Larry the Cable Guy ("Witless Protection), Eddie Murphy ("Meet Dave"), Mike Myers ("The Love Guru"), Al Pacino ("88 Minutes"/"Righteous Kill") and Mark Wahlberg ("Max Payne" and "The Happening").

The nominees for Worst Actress are Jessica Alba ("The Eye"/"The Love Guru"), Cameron Diaz ("What Happens in Vegas"), Paris Hilton ("The Hottie and the Nottie"), Kate Hudson ("Fool's Gold"/"My Best Friend's Girl") and the whole cast of "The Women."

Here are the nominees for Worst Supporting Actor: Uwe Boll, Pierce Brosnan, Ben Kingsley, Burt Reynolds and Verne Troyer. Competing for the Worst Supporting Actress award are Carmen Electra, Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, Jenny McCarthy and Leelee Sobieski.

In the category for Worst Screen Couple, the nominees are: Eddie Murphy in Eddie Murphy, Larry the Cable Guy and Jenny McCarhty, Paris Hilton and either Christine Lakin or Joel David Moore, Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher and Uwe Boll and any actor (camera or screenplay).

Affleck, Alba to star in ‘The Killer Inside Me’

Casey Affleck and Jessica Alba have signed on to star in Michael Winterbottom’s “The Killer Inside Me,” based on the novel by Jim Thompson.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film stars Affleck as a West Texas sheriff and focuses on his transition from a boring cop into a ruthless murderer. Alba plays a prostitute.

Thompson’s novel first made it to the big screen in 1976, with Stacy Keach starring.

Winterbottom’s directing credits include “Welcome to Sarajevo,” “In this World” and “A Mighty Heart.”

As for Affleck, he had a solid last year, starring in “Ocean’s Thirteen,” “Gone Baby Gone” and “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.”

Alba was last seen in “The Love Guru.” She is currently shooting “An Invisible Sign of My Own.”

Jessica Alba spotted on ‘Invisible Sign’ set

The folks over at the Bad and Ugly posted a set of images of Jessica Alba on the set of “An Invisible Sign of My Own,” a drama directed by Marilyn Agrelo.

Based on the novel by Aimee Bender, the film follows a reclusive math teacher (Alba) whose life takes a turn when a new science teacher starts working at her school.

Simmons, Messina to find ‘Invisible Sign’

J.K. Simmons and Chris Messina have signed on to join Jessica Alba in Marilyn Agrelo’s upcoming drama “An Invisible Sign of My Own.”

Based on the novel by Aimee Bender, the film follows a reclusive math teacher (Alba) whose life takes a turn when a new science teacher starts working at her school.

Details about Messina’s and Simmons’ roles are unknown at this point. Variety describes the project as an "Amelie"-style indie.

Simmons can currently be seen onscreen in “Burn After Reading.” His future projects include “Jennifer’s Body” and “Crazy on the outside.”

As for Messina, he most recently starred in Woody Allen’s “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” and “Humboldt County.” He’ll also appear in Nora Ephron’s “Julie & Julia.”

Final word: Sounds like an interesting project, although I’m not quite sure about this “Amelie”-style thing. “Amelie” is a unique masterpiece no one can get remotely close to.

Jessica Alba looks for ‘Invisible Sign’

Jessica Alba has signed on to star in Marilyn Agrelo’s upcoming drama “An Invisible Sign of My Own,” according to Variety.

Based on the novel by Aimee Bender, the story centers on a young woman who lives in solitude and spends most of her time burying herself in a world of numbers and math. Everything changes when she takes on a job as second-grade math teacher.

Agrelo, whose credits include “Mad Hot Ballroom,” is directing a script by Mike Ellis and Pam Falk. The duo also wrote Adam Shankman’s 2001 comedy “The Wedding Planner.”

Alba most recently starred in “The Eye” and “The Love Guru.”
