Trailer for Soderbergh's 'Contagion'

The trailer for Steven Soderbergh's upcoming thriller "Contagion" has debuted online, so check it out after the jump. It looks like an intriguing virus tale boasting a big cast, including Matt Damon, Jude Law, Marion Cotillard and Gwyneth Paltrow.

"Contagion," due in theaters Sept. 9, 2011, focuses on the threat posed by a deadly disease and an international team of doctors contracted by the CDC to deal with the outbreak. Laurence Fishburne and Kate Winslet round out the cast.

Count me among those excited to see Soderbergh tackle this sort of material. Although the trailer does not entirely reveal the core of the plot, it sure promises a well shot thriller that will hopefullyl put a new spin on the those virus outbreak flicks.

M. Night Shyamalan prepping secret project?

With the release of "The Last Airbender" coming up July 1, 2010, M. Night Shyamalan is already trying to get his next project launched. It's another one of his secret projects, and a script is already done.

Shyamalan let studio executives read it, but only under the supervision of his assistants, according to Heat Vision. The project also has three names attached: Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, Bruce Willis.

Now that's what gets my attention. Nothing else is known about this film, but with such a cast, he sure will create some buzz around town. He needs to, because his more recent projects failed to impress.

Movie Review: "Iron Man 2"

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra

Seen on: May 4, 2010

The players: Director: Jon Favreau, Writer: Justin Theroux, Cast: Robert Downey Jr., Mickey Rourke, Sam Rockwell, Don Cheadle, Gwyneth Paltrow

Facts of interest: Stay put at the end of the credits! A surprise awaits you!

The plot: Tony Stark is back in action, and this time, he has to battle Whiplash, who teams up with Justin Hammer to bring down Iron Man for good.

Our thoughts: Tony Stark is back in action in Jon Favreau’s anticipated sequel “Iron Man 2,” and while the lead hero is still in solid shape, the movie itself is showing some weaknesses. No, it’s not a big deal, really, but compared to its fantastic predecessor, “Iron Man 2” falls a bit short. That’s not to say the movie sucks, because truth be told, it’s still a very entertaining, explosive second installment.

New 'Iron Man 2' clips invade the web

Robert Downey Jr. in Iron Man 2

Two new clips from Jon Favreau's upcoming sequel "Iron Man 2" have hit the online world today, and you should check them out after the jump. No, no big action stunts in these, but if you'll take the time to watch them, I promise you'll be in for some good old "Iron Man" humor. Hey, that's not that bad, right?

In the first clip, Robert Downey Jr. aka. Tony Stark is debating with Gwyneth Paltrow's Pepper Potts. They are talking about Stark's interest in Natalie Rushman (Scarlett Johansson) for the position of his new assistant. Clip no. 2 is a funny little talk between Stark and his rival Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell).

"Iron Man 2" opens May 7, 2010, and the press folks in Los Angeles already got to see the flick. We over here have to wait a little longer, but I would be lying if I said I was not excited about this. In fact, I can't wait to see this thing. On top of that, I wil make sure to catch it in IMAX, and so should you, don't you think?

New 'Iron Man 2' trailer totally rocks!

The latest trailer for "Iron Man 2" premiered Sunday night, and I highly recommend you check it out after the jump. It's even more thrilling than its predecessor, and truth be told, it got me even more excited about this sequel than I was before. This looks stellar!

"Iron Man 2" comes loaded with an awesome cast, including Mickey Rourke, Scarlett Johansson, Don Cheadle, Samuel L. Jackson, Sam Rockwell, Kate Mara, Clark Gregg, and Gwyneth Paltrow. Johansson plays Black Widow, and wow, she looks crazy good in this thing.

Rourke will cause Tony Stark some trouble in the role of Whiplash, and Cheadle will play War Machine. "Iron Man 2" won't open until May 7, 2010, but this new trailer gives us something to look forward to. It's loud, wild, visually pleasing and as action-packed as ever.

'Iron Man 2' trailer looks totally awesome!

Iron Man 2 Trailer

YES! The very first trailer for Jon Favreau's upcoming "Iron Man 2" has landed online, and I highly encourage you to check it out after the jump. This really looks like one badass, awesome sequel, folks!

I want to share my excitement with you because I absolutely loved the first "Iron Man." Pretty much everything worked for me in the film, and I've been waiting for the follow-up ever since I saw No. 1.

"Iron Man 2" won't open until May 7, 2010, but this great trailer gives us something to look forward to. We catch a good look at Whiplash (Mickey Rourke), War Machine (Don Cheadle) and even Black Widow.

The trailer is visually stunning as well, and it seems like Stark is keeping his dry humor. Only this time, the world knows he's Iron Man. Additionally, he has to fight a bunch of mean bad boys at the same time.

Gwyneth Paltrow joins Kidman in 'Danish Girl'

Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow is set to join Nicole Kidman in "The Danish Girl," Tomas Alfredson's drama from a script by Lucinda Coxon, who adapted David Ebershoff’s novel.

Based on a true story, the film focuses on Einar and Greta Wegener, two Danish artists whose marriage drastically changed when Einar became the first postoperative transsexual.

Kidman is Einar, and Paltrow plays Greta, according to Variety. Charlize Theron ("The Burning Plain") was once attached to that role, but she dropped out.

Paltrow will soon return to play Pepper Potts in "Iron Man 2." She was also seen in "Two Lovers." Kidman will soon dance in "Nine." BTW, Alfredson directed "Let the Right One In."

More new 'Iron Man 2' photos pop up online

If you checked out the recent photos from Jon Favreau's upcoming sequel "Iron Man2" and liked what you saw, I encourage you to check out these new stills from the anticipated sequel, which hits theaters May 7, 2010. I know, it's a long wait, right?

Anyway, the pics above and below give you another good (and pretty hot) look at Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts and even Don Cheadle as James Rhodes, the role that previously belonged to Terrence Howard.

This time around, Iron Man has two enemies he has to go up against: Mickey Rourke's Whiplash, who builds his own version of Stark's cool suit, and Sam Rockwell's Justin Hammer, a weapons manufacturer wants to bring down Stark.
