Shitty 'Marmaduke' trailer debuts online

Are you ready for the next crappy dog movie? Oh it's coming, folks! Tom Dey's "Marmaduke" hits theaters June 4, 2010, and a new trailer for the family flick has just debuted online. What can I say? Check out the stinking preview after the jump. Beware though: it may cause your eyes and ears to die a little. The film is based on the popular comic strip, and in case I haven't mentioned it already, it looks shitty.

Owen Wilson voices the lead character, a Great Dane who gets in trouble all the time. That's as far as I can get with story. Also on board is George Lopez, who gets to voice yet another stupid animal. The trailer below isn't funny, and I'm already dreading the movie's opening day. Voice cast also includes Emma Stone, Ron Perlman, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Fergie. Yawn... time to wrap this up.

Three new fabulous 'Nine' posters!

Earlier today I received three new movie posters for Rob Marshall's upcoming musical "Nine," and as you can see after the jump, these one-sheets are quite fabulous. The film opens nationwide Dec. 25, 2009.

In the big-screen adaptation of the Broadway show, Daniel Day-Lewis jumps into the role of Guido Contini, a high-profile director struggling to satisfy all the women in his life, including his wife and mistress.

Two of these posters are all about the women, and I admit Kate and Penelope look pretty hot. Fergie looks a tad too scary for my taste, but the rest of the gang sure boasts some solid looks, don't you think?

Wonderful new trailer for 'Nine' is vibrant

New trailer for Nine

I'm among those who absolutely adored Rob Marshall's prestigious musical "Chicago," and therefore, I'm really looking forward to his next spectacle "Nine," due in theaters everywhere Dec. 25, 2009.

A new feature trailer for the movie has debuted online, and I encourage you to check it out after the jump. No dialogue in this one, really, but instead, you're treated to great visuals and beautiful music.

In the big-screen adaptation of the Broadway show, Daniel Day-Lewis jumps into the role of Guido Contini, a high-profile director struggling to satisfy all the women in his life, including his wife and mistress.

Short Takes: Raimi goes Disney, Fergie is 'Nine'

• Sam Raimi teams up with Walt Disney to produce “The Transplants,” a family action adventure developed by Adam Jay Epstein and Andrew Jacobson (“Not Another Teen Movie”). Nothing is known about the film’s plot except that it involves superheroes. (The Hollywood Reporter)

• Howard Stern is set to produce a remake of Allan Arkush’s 1979 musical comedy “Rock ‘n’ Roll High School,” according to Variety. The original followed a group of student who used the help of the Ramones to take down their ruthless principal.

• According to MTV News, director Pete Docter and Pixar may be eyeing a sequel to “Monsters, Inc.” This is all just a big rumor at this stage, but Docter told MTV he was already looking at some ideas.

• Fergie has signed on to play a prostitute in Rob Marshall’s upcoming musical “Nine,” according to The Associated Press. She joins Daniel Day-Lewis, Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman and Judi Dench.
