Third 'Before Sunrise' movie? Yes, Please!

This may just be the best movie news of the year. Let me get right to it. There is a chance we'll get to enjoy a third "Before Sunrise" movie. How come? The folks at Vulture noticed an interview with Ethan Hawke over at Allocine, telling the site they may start working on a sequel.

With they, Hawke refers to himself, Julie Delpy and Richard Linklater. The trio collborated on the previous films "Before Sunrise" and "Before Sunset," and it would only make sense for them to reunite for a third film. If Hawke is indeed serious, this is a wonderful development I can only cherish.

Linklater's two films about two strangers meeting in a city and spending some hours together won me over the first time I saw them, and to this day, they remain in my list of best films I've ever seen. Truly inspiring, these little flicks serve as perfect examples of brilliant screenwriting and prestigious acting.

Movie Review: “Daybreakers”

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra

Seen on: January 8, 2010

The players: Directors: Michael Spierig, Peter Spierig, Writers: Michael Spierig, Peter Spierig, Cast: Ethan Hawke, Willem Dafoe, Isabel Lucas, Sam Neill

Facts of interest: None.

The plot: It's the year 2019, and vampires are ruling the world. But as their supply of human blood runs out, one man (Hawke) must find a way to prevent chaos and save the remaining humans.

Our thoughts: Michael and Peter Spierig’s “Daybreakers” is a highly entertaining vampire action flick, and believe it or not, it’s also one of those films blessed with an awesome concept. I wouldn’t go as far and call it a masterpiece, but for a January release, it’s definitely worth checking out. Trust me, it really delivers the goods.

Fall in love with 'New York, I Love You' trailer

New York, I Love You trailer

I've been in love with New York ever since my first visit to the Big Apple in 2001, but I'm willing to do it all over again by watching "New York, I Love You," which will hit theaters this October.

The first trailer for the collection of short films about the city has debuted online, and you can check it out after the jump. It features a superb cast, and it looks just as intriguing as its recent French counterpart "Paris, Je t'aime."

Essentially, the film will showcase several shorts focusing on all things love in the Big Apple, giving audiences the opportunity to experience some of the city’s most famous, beautiful locations.

Orlando Bloom, Ethan Hawke, Hayden Christensen, Maggie Q, Chris Cooper, Kevin Bacon, Blake Lively, Anton Yelchin, Rachel Bilson, Andy Garcia and Bradley Cooper are some of the actors you'll see in the film.

Explosive 'Daybreakers' trailer hits web

Ethan Hawke in the Daybreakers trailer

Here's a pretty intriguing trailer for Peter and Michael Spierig's upcoming action horror flick "Daybreakers," which will land in theaters Jan. 8, 2010. Check out the explosive footage below.

The film stars Ethan Hawke as Edward Dalton, who is a researcher in the year 2019, in which an unknown plague has transformed the world's population into vampires.

As the human population nears extinction, vampires must capture and farm every remaining human, or find a blood substitute before time runs out. However, a covert group of vampires decides to save the human race.

The film boasts quite the impressive cast, including Willem Dafoe, Isabel Lucas and Sam Neill. I know we've seen more vampire movies than many of us can handle, but the concept of "Daybreakers" intrigues me. Bring it on!
