Emma Stone offered lead in 'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies'

It looks like we’re finally going to see Elizabeth Bennet as a redhead. Emma Stone has been offered the role to star in the adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith’s outrageously successful novel “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.”
Stone ("Easy A") seems to fit the part, considering she already has experience with the undead, hanging out alongside Bill Murray and Jesse Eisenberg in “Zombieland.” She delivered a pretty solid performance in that flick, by the way.
Stone’s work load doesn’t look like it's going to slow down any time soon. According to Movieline, she will be seen in three movies this summer, “Friends with Benefits,” “Crazy, Stupid, Love” and “The Help,” before starring in “The Amazing Spider-Man,” which is set to release in 2012.
Instead of the mildly stubborn, soft spoken Kiera Knightly we saw in Joe Wright's “Pride and Prejudice,” we can look forward to watching Stone dish out round house kicks while wielding automatic weapons.
