New red band 'Zombieland' trailer delivers!

Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson in Zombieland

Here's a brand-new red band trailer for Ruben Fleischer's upcoming action comedy "Zombieland," and to be honest, it's just ridiculously hilarious. Yeah, it looks bloody great.

In the film, a group of survivors team up to fight the zombies after a nasty plague ravages through America. Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Amber Heard and Abigail Breslin star.

While the previous trailer offered a sneak peek at the film's sense of humor, this one offers viewers a bunch of bloody moments; wildly funny ones at that.

I know we've seen so many zombie-related films during the past years, but just judging by this footage, "Zombieland" still looks like a refreshing vehicle driven by solid performances and plenty of silly, entertaining big-screen fun.

Funny 'Zombieland' trailer invades web

Are you ready for the next zombie comedy? Ruben Fleischer's upcoming action adventure "Zombieland" will invade theaters Oct. 9. 2009, and a first trailer for the film has debuted on the Web. Check it out after the jump.

In the film, a group of survivors team up to fight the zombies after a nasty plague ravages through America. Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Amber Heard and Abigail Breslin star.

Even though I'm sure we'll never see a zombie comedy more hilarious than "Shaun of the Dead," "Zombieland" looks rather amusing to say the least.

I'm particularly looking forward to these characters and performances. Harrelson is someone who I'm sure will be fun to watch kicking zombie butt, and Eisenberg is someone with huge talent as well. Stone and Head are hot, and Breslin usually does fine work as well.

Sounds like a winner right? Well, we'll see when "Zombieland" opens this fall.

Movie Review: “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past”

Seen on: May 1, 2009

The players: Director: Mark Waters, Writers: Jon Lucas, Scott Moore, Cast: Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Garner, Breckin Meyer, Lacey Chabert, Robert Forster

Facts of interest: Mark Waters also directed "Mean Girls," "Freaky Friday" and "Just Like Heaven."

The plot: Connor Mead is a famous photographer who despises love and marriage, until he's visited by three ghosts who show him just how big a prick he really is.

Our thoughts: Trust me, you can certainly live happily ever after without seeing Mark Waters’ latest comedy “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past.” I wouldn’t go as far and say I hated the film, but its lack of an original story line and the absence of laughs really made it hard for me to fall for this one.

Emma Stone may score 'Easy A'

The lovely Emma Stone is in talks to star in Will Gluck's upcoming Screen Gems comedy "Easy A," a modern reimagining of "The Scarlet Letter."

Written by playwright Bert V. Royal, the film centers on a high school student who seeks financial and personal gain by pretending to be the school slut.

According to Variety, the film will start lensing very soon. Gluck recently made his directorial debut with "Fired Up," an atrocity of a comedy. Gosh, I hated that flick!

Stone is known for her role in "Superbad." She also starred in "The Rocker," and she most recently appeared in "The House Buny." You can check her out soon in "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" and "Paper Man."

Trailer radar: 'Ghosts of Girlfriends Past'

Ever afraid one of your past girlfriends will come back to haunt you?

That's exactly what happens to Matthew McConaughey in Mark Waters' latest romantic comedy "The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past," which hits theaters May 1, 2009. Here is the official synopsis:

Celebrity photographer Connor Mead loves freedom, fun and women... in that order. A committed bachelor who thinks nothing of breaking up with multiple women on a conference call, Connor's mockery of romance proves a real buzz-kill for his kid brother, Paul, and a houseful of well wishers on the eve of Paul's wedding.

Just when it looks like Connor may single-handedly ruin the wedding, he is visited by the ghosts of his former jilted girlfriends, who take him on a revealing and hilarious odyssey through his failed relationships--past, present and future.

Together they attempt to find out what turned Connor into such an insensitive jerk and whether there is still hope for him to find true love...or if he really is the lost cause everyone thinks he is.

Check out the trailer for the film below. I am not opposed to such a story, but then again, I hope they can play this game for more than 90 minutes without getting too boring or monotonous.
