Meet Benicio Del Toro's 'The Wolf Man' in trailer

The Wolf Man with Benicio Del Toro

It's a big day for new trailers. First, we got a sneak peek at James Cameron's "Avatar," and now, Universal invites you to check out its first trailer for Joe Johnston's upcoming horror thriller "The Wolf Man," which will be unleashed in theaters Feb. 10, 2010 with Benicio Del Toro in the lead role.

Del Toro stars as Lawrence Talbot, a carefree Londoner lured back to his family estate after the disappearance of his brother. Reunited in crisis with his estranged father, Talbot sets out to find his brother… but discovers an even more horrifying destiny for himself.

Universal moves 'The Wolfman' yet again

Universal yet again changed the release date for Joe Johnston's upcoming horror thriller "The Wolfman." The film is now set to open Feb. 12, 2010.

"Wolfman" was last set to invade theaters Nov. 6, 2009, but that was already the film's third release date, after a move from Feb. 13, 2009 to April 6.

Universal prefers opening the film during the first quarter of 2010, citing a bigger potential to score at the box office. Right now, "Wolfman" will go up against "Valentine's Day" and "Remember Me."

Emily Blunt pays visit to 'Adjustment Bureau'

Emily Blunt

The lovely Emily Blunt will star alongside Matt Damon in George Nolfi's upcoming thriller "The Adjustment Bureau," based on a short story by Philip K. Dick.

Damon is on board to star as a promising congressman whose career takes a turn when he meets a beautiful ballet dancer, played by Blunt.

As it turns out, he quickly discovers there are mysterious forces that are trying to keep them apart, which is why he embarks on a mission to find out what is really going on. Nolfi also wrote the script.

Blunt, an actress I always love to see on the big screen, recently starred in "Sunshine Cleaning." She's got "The Wolf Man" and "Gulliver's Travels" coming up soon.

New 'Gulliver's Travels' set photos debut

The folks at ComingSoon debuted a bunch of set pics from Rob Letterman's updated version of “Gulliver’s Travels" for 20th Century Fox. Check out some stills on this page, and the rest of them right here. The story, of course, is a famous one: a writer named Lemuel Gulliver (Jack Black) travels to Bermuda for an assignment and discovers a hidden island with tiny inhabitants.

Billy Connolly, James Gorden, Jason Segel, Emily Blunt, Chris O'Dowd and Catherine Tate co-star, and you'll see them in some of these set pics. Letterman also co-directed "Monsters vs. Aliens." "Gulliver's Travels" is currently set for release June 4, 2010.

Emily Blunt to mess with therapists in 'Messenger'?

It's always a great pleasure to see Emily Blunt light up the big screen, and according to Joblo, one of her upcoming projects is "Shoot the Messenger."

Blunt has apparently joined the cast (including Anthony Hopkins) for Ted Griffin's "Messenger," which is based on Irvin Yalom's novel "Lying on the Couch."

The plot follows a young woman named Carolyn, who plans to ruin the career of psychotherapist Ernest Lash because she thinks he advised her husband to file for divorce.

In the meantime, there's also a gambler who tries to trick another psychotherapist so he can sue and pay off his debt. This sounds a little chaotic to me at this stage, but maybe we'll get more details once the projects heads into production.

Blunt's credits include "My Summer of Love," "The Devil Wears Prada" and "Sunshine Cleaning." She will soon star in "The Wolf Man."

Blunt, Segal to join Black 'Gulliver's Travels'

Emily Blunt and Jason Segel are in talks to join Jack Black in Rob Letterman’s updated version of “Gulliver’s Travels" for 20th Century Fox.

The story is a famous one: a writer named Lemuel Gulliver (Black) travels to Bermuda for an assignment and discovers a hidden island with tiny inhabitants.

According to Variety, Blunt would star as a Lilliputian princess and Gulliver's love interest. Segel will play Horatio, the main character's best friend who helps him escape from Liliput.

If Blunt decided to join this project, her possible involvement in "Iron Man 2" may be in jeopardy. As you may recall, Blunt was recently offered the role of Soviet spy Natasha Romanoff in Jon Favreau's sequel.

If she took on that role as well, her schedule may pose a problem because "Gulliver" is set for a March shoot and "Iron Man 2" will head into principal photography in early April, according to the trade.

Nicholas Stoller, director of "Forgetting Sarah Marshall, wrote the script for "Gulliver's Travels" with Joe Stillman.

Segel will next be seen alongside Paul Rudd in "I Love You, Man." Blunt will soon be seen alongside Amy Adams in "Sunshine Cleaning."

Posters for 'Obsessed,' 'Great Buck Howard'

Today, I picked up two new one-sheets on my poster radar:

The first one is for Steven Shill's upcoming thriller "Obsessed," which opens April 24, 2009 and stars Beyoncé Knowles, Idris Elba and Ali Larter.

The film focuses on a successful asset manager who's living a fabulous life until everything spins out of control when a sexy temp worker starts stalking him.

The poster you can check out below is not really original, but then again, the trailer for the film isn't that exciting either. In fact, if you want to see the entire movie in two minutes, watch the preview here. And how about that ridiculous tagline: "All's fair when love is war."

The second poster is for Sean McGinly's "The Greak Buck Howard," in which a young law student becomes the new assistant to a weirdo illusionist. The film stars Colin Hanks and his father Tom, as well as John Malkovich, Emily Blunt and Ricky Jay.

"Buck" opens March 20. 2009. Enjoy the new posters below.

Emily Blunt to play villain in 'Iron Man 2'?

Emily Blunt may end up playing a villain in Jon Favreau's upcoming sequel "Iron Man 2."

No official deal has been announced, but according to Variety, Blunt is in the race for the role of Natasha Romanoff, a Soviet spy also known as Black Widow, a bad girl wearing a high-tech black costume.

Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.) will be busy fighting villains in the anticipated sequel to last year's awesome action flick "Iron Man."

Just last week, Mickey Rourke entered negotiations to play Crimson Dynamo, the tattooed Russian arms dealer who faces the superhero in a badass suit of armor.

Would Blunt make a good femme fatale? I think so. So far, I've liked her in pretty much everything I've seen of her, including "My Summer of Love," "Irresistible," "The Devil Wears Prade" and "Dan in Real Life."

Blunt will soon star alongside Amy Adams in "Sunshine Cleaning." She also stars in Joe Johnston's "The Wolf Man."

As for "Iron Man 2," Justin Theroux is still working on the script, but the film is expected to start shooting this spring. At this stage, the film is set for release May 7, 2010.

Here's the poster for 'Sunshine Cleaning'

From the producers of "Little Miss Sunshine" comes "Sunshine Cleaning," a comedy starring Emily Blunt, Amy Adams and Alan Arkin.

ImpAwards just recently added a new poster for the film, which is directed by Christine Jeffs from a script by Megan Holley.

The film focuses on two sisters who want to make some quick cash by starting up a crime scene clean-up business. It's a dirty business indeed.

Blunt, Adams and Arkin together in one film sounds delicious. I recently caught the trailer for "Sunshine Cleaning" in theaters, and I have to admit, it looks hilarious.

The film is scheduled to open in limited relesse March 13, 2009. Adams is currently onscree  in "Doubt." Blunt will be seen in "The Wolf Man" later this year.
