Orlando Bloom moves to 'Main Street'

Orlando Bloom is in talks to join Andrew McCarthy, Ellen Burstyn, Patricia Clarkson and Colin Firth in John Doyle's upcoming drama "Main Street."
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film follows a group of a small North Carolina town residents whose lives are turned upside down with the arrival of a stranger. Bloom is set to play a police officer.
Doyle is directing a script by the late Horton Foote, whose credits also include "To Kill a Mockingbird" and "Of Mice and Men."
Bloom, who last starred in "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End," will soon be seen in "New York, I Love You" and "Sympathy for Delicious."
McCarthy recently appeared on "Lipstick Jungle," while Burstyn last starred in "W." Clarkson's recent credits include "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" and "Elegy." As for Firth, was was recently seen in "Mamma Mia!"
