Watch this action-packed clip from 'Skyline'

Skyline clip

The folks at Yahoo! Movies today posted a brand-new clip from Colin Strause and Greg Strause's sci-fi thriller "Skyline," and I highly suggest you check it out below. It's quite an intense action sequence...

"Skyline" happens to be one of only a few films I'm really looking forward this season, which is why I'm super excited the film opens Nov. 12, 2010. I've been continually impressed by what I've seen of it so far.

In the film, strange lights descend on Los Angeles, drawing people outside like moths to a flame where an extraterrestrial force threatens to swallow the entire human population off the face of the earth.

New 'Skyline' poster is really cool

Final Skyline poster

Colin Strause and Greg Strause's sci-fi thriller "Skyline" is one of the films I'm looking forward to most this season, and lucky me, the film is coming out Nov. 12, 2010 already. A brand-new poster is out.

Check it out above (via Latino Review). It's just as cool as the rest of them. Eric Balfour, Donald Faison, Scottie Thompson and Brittany Daniel star. Liam O'Donnell and Joshua Cordes penned the script.

New 'Skyline' trailer looks epic!

New Skyline trailer rocks

Damn, this looks awesome! The new trailer for Colin Strause and Greg Strause's sci-fi thriller "Skyline" has landed on the Web, and it delivers the goods big time. I'm almost at a loss of words here...

In the film, strange lights descend on Los Angeles, drawing people outside like moths to a flame where an extraterrestrial force threatens to swallow the entire human population off the face of the earth.

It looks like an alien movie with tons of insane action and a cool concept, considering the mean visitors from space seem to be winning control over humans as soon as they look up at that strange blue light.

Pretty awesome poster for 'Skyline' arrives

Now that we've seen the pretty cool teaser trailer for "Skyline," here's a look at the awesome new poster for the upcoming sci-fi thriller directed by Colin and Greg Strause. The film lands Nov. 12, 2010.

It is a crowded one-sheet for sure, but I pretty much like everything about it. Cool colors, and quite mysterious too. It's definitely a poster that makes me want to see this thing as soon as possible...

This week, we're looking at two wide releases: J.J. Abrams' anticipated "Star Trek" reboot with Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Bruce Greenwood, Eric Bana, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, Anton Yelchin, Simon Pegg and John Cho; and Benny Boom's comedy "Next Day Air" with Donald Faison, Mike Epps and Mos Def:

STAR TREK

Synopsis: The fate of the galaxy rests in the hands of bitter rivals. One, James Kirk, is a delinquent, thrill-seeking Iowa farm boy. The other, Spock, was raised in a logic-based society that rejects all emotion. Funny trailer for 'Next Day Air' hits web

This one looks rather funny.

I'm talking about the trailer for Benny Boom's upcoming crime comedy "Next Day Air," which arrives in theaters May 8, 2009.

Here's the film's official synopsis:

When a misguided UPS driver inadvertently delivers a package containing concealed bricks of cocaine to the wrong address, it sets in motion a desperate search and battle for the coke between the furious dealer that sent it, the fearful intended recipients that missed it, and the conniving accidental recipients that plan to flip it.

Time is running out and everyone's trying to get their hands on the package that's been sent...Next Day Air!

As you can see in the preview after the jump, the flick stars Donald Faison, Mos Def, Wood Harris, Mike Epps and Yasmin Deliz. Hey, even Debbie Allen is on board.

While the concept behind "Next Day Air" doesn't sound all too fresh, this footage is funny enough to make me want to see more. As for Faison, you may know him as Dr. Christopher Turk on "[scrubs]."
