Disney's new 'Oceans' trailer is glorious

Back in April, we got a first look at Disney Nature's upcoming nature flick "Oceans," and I remember the footage I saw really blew me away. Now a feature trailer has hit the Web, and it looks awesome!

"Oceans" is Disney's 2010 Earth Day film release, which means you will get to take a dive on the big screen April 22, 2010. Also, as the title already sugests, the movie focuses on the world's vast oceans.

Jacques Perrin and Jacques Cluzaud directed "Oceans," and it looks like they've created a visually stunning portrait of all the creatures that call Earth's oceans home. The footage looks truly spectacular.

Poster for Moore's 'Capitalism' is almost okay

A first poster for Michael Moore's upcoming documentary "Capitalism: A Love Story" has popped up @Fandango, and you can get a better look at it after the jump. Let me say this immediately: the poster could've been great... without Moore on it. Come on, who's with me?

In the film, Moore focuses on the impact corporate dominance and out-of-control profit motives have on the the world. It also centers on the global financial meltdown and the Senate's decision to approve a gigantic bailout. In other words, Moore will be trying to talk to a bunch of people who don't want to talk to him...

Movie Review: “The Cove”

Seen on: June 23, 2009

The players: Director: Louie Psihoyos, Writer: Mark Monroe, Cast: Richard O'Barry, Louie Psihoyos

Facts of interest: More than 23,000 dolphins are slaughtered in Japan each year. Those that are sold can each bring in up to $150,000.

The plot: The film tries to expose the mass killings of dolphins in Japan and the health risks from selling the meat for human consumption.

Our thoughts: Louie Psihoyos’ “The Cove” is undoubtedly the most compelling piece of big-screen investigative journalism I’ve seen so far. It’s an experience as shocking as it is suspenseful, and it successfully engrossed me for its full 90 minutes. If there’s one film you absolutely have to see when it hits theaters this summer, it’s this one.
