Adorable! New trailer for 'Chimpanzee'

Disney Nature is following up this year's "African Cats" with "Chimpanzee," a new feature documentary that focuses on Oscar, an adorable young chimp abandoned by its family. A new trailer has just recently debuted online, and you can check it out after the jump.

Like all of Disney Nature's films, "Chimpanzee" looks visually stunning, inviting audiences deep into Ugandan rain forests. It also promises a ton of cuteness combined with heartwarming moments, as evidenced in the footage below. Your kids will love it.

This new trailer is not entirely different than the previously released teaser, but it includes a small pitch at the end begging you to go see the movie so Disney can use some of the box office earnings to support unfortunate chimps. See it in theaters April 20, 2012.

Disneynature's "Oceans" just opened in theaters yesterday, but the studio is already working on its' next nature project: "African Cats: Kingdom of Courage." The film's teaser trailer is now online, and you can check it out below. If you enjoyed "Earth" and "Oceans," I am sure you'll love this; it's got great footage.

"African Cats" is a nature documentary centered on two cat families and how they teach their cubs the ways of the wild. As you can see below, the shots are stunning, and I'm sure the film will find its audience when it opens Earth Day 2011. Alastair Fothergill and Keith Scholey directed the film. Roaaaaaar!

"Oceans" is Disney's 2010 Earth Day film release, which means you will get to take a dive on the big screen April 22, 2010. Also, as the title already sugests, the movie focuses on the world's vast oceans.

Jacques Perrin and Jacques Cluzaud directed "Oceans," and it looks like they've created a visually stunning portrait of all the creatures that call Earth's oceans home. The footage looks truly spectacular.

Movie Review: "Earth"

Seen on: April 23, 2009

The players: Directors: Alastair Fothergill, Mark Linfield, Writers: Alastair Fothergill, Mark Linfield, Cast: James Earl Jones

Facts of interest: "Earth" is th feature-length version of the popular TV series.

The plot: This documentary follows three animal families and their adventures across the planet we call home.

Our thoughts: I’m not sure how to do this. How does one heap praise on a film that is essentially comprised of previously used footage and recycled in the interest of making it more accessible to American family audiences?
