Courteney Cox gives quick 'Scream IV update!

Courtney Cox in Scream

Courteney Cox is excited to return to horror in the upcoming sequel "Scream IV," and the actress recently gave the Associated Press a short update on where she thinks her character will be in the fourth film.

"They're probably back living in Woodsboro," she said. "I think that he's probably still deputy, and I've had a lot of kids. I don't know. I'm probably miserable, and then I'm sure a lot of murdering will happen."

Is she serious? I don't know, and I don't care. I'm glad she's back as part of the original cast, and so is husband David Arquette and Neve Campbell, who played Sidney Prescott in the previous flicks.

Courteney & David Arquette to star in 'Scream' reboot?

So, how excited are you about the upcoming "Scream" trilogy? Like it or not, it will happen, and writer-director Kevin Williamson has already been working on a reboot that will most likely bring back a bunch of characters from the earlier films. According to EW, Williamson even talked to Courteney Cox Arquette and David Arquette about the possibility of them returning as well.

No definite deals have been made yet, and no word on whether Neve Campbell's character will be back in action. Eventually, I don't really care what Williamson wants to do because I'm not particularly interested in the making of three new "Scream" flicks (I kind of gave up after the second one), but on the other hand, it would be sweet to have at least some of the original characters return.
