First look at John Cusack in 'The Raven'

Relativity Media has debuted new photos and the first official poster for James McTeigue's upcoming movie "The Raven," in which John Cusack plays Edgar Allan Poe. Check out these items above and below. The thriller is set to open March 9, 2012.

When a mother and daughter are found murdered in Baltimore, a detective makes a startling discovery: the crime resembles a fictional murder described in the local newspaper, part of a collection of stories penned by struggling writer Edgar Allan Poe.

Cusack plays the lead, with Luke Evans playing Detective Emmett Fields. Also starring are Brendan Gleeson and Alice Eve. James McTeigue also directed "Ninja Assassin" and "V for Vendetta." You can keep up with "The Raven" on Facebook.

First official 'Deathly Hallows' image debuts!

Image from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Earlier this year, we got a first but rather lame first look at Daniel Radcliffe in David Yates upcoming "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I," which is slated for a Nov. 19. 2010 release.

The folks at USA Today now provided the first official photo from the first part of the last "Harry Potter" flick, and you can see it above. It's not exactly a compelling shot. Ron seems much taller though, no?

Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Brendan Gleeson, Helena Bonham Carter and Alan Rickman return in the sequel, and as you know, "Deathly Hallows" will be divided in two parts, with No. 2 opening July 15, 2011.

Action-packed trailer for 'Green Zone' hits!

Matt Damon in Green Zone trailer

Paul Greengrass and Matt Damon return to big-screen action in "Green Zone," and as this new trailer for the film suggests, it pretty much looks like a Jason Bourne flick taking place in Iraq during the war.

Still, as you can see below, "Zone" looks action-packed and intense, and as long as it's as original and vibrant as the Bourne films, I'm totally in. After all, Greengrass is a a director I very much appreciate.

On top of that, Damon always looks good in action roles like these, and the guy behind the screenplay isn't a nobody either. It's Brian Helgeland, who worked on "Mystic River" and "L.A. Confidential."
