Will 'District 9' star Sharlto Copley be Murdock in 'A-Team'?

Sharlto Copley in District 9

Who knows if this is all true, but it may as well be. Blackfilm.com says "District 9" star Sharlto Copley has received an offer to star as Capt. "Howling Mad" Murdock in Joe Carnahan's upcoming "The A-Team" flick. How cool is that?

Of course, nothing has been confirmed by any official sources, and no word is out yet whether Copley accepted anything. I'm sure we will receive some details about this in the near future. The latest to join the film is Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson, who will be playing B.A. Baracus.

Movie Review: “All About Steve”

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra

Seen on: September 1, 2009

The players: Director: Phil Traill, Writer: Kim Barker, Cast: Sandra Bullock, Thomas Haden Church, Bradley Cooper, Ken Jeong, D.J. Qualls

Facts of interest: Sandra Bullock also produced "All About Steve."

The plot: Sandra Bullock plays a woman who stalks a cameraman after she's convinced he's the love of her life.

Our thoughts: Sandra Bullock was a real charm when we saw her last in the recent romantic comedy “The Proposal,” but her character and performance in Phil Traill’s “All About Steve” really made me want to kick her. To be honest, it takes great patience to sit through this misfiring movie without literally going crazy, and that’s exactly why I strongly urge you to stay away from this one.

Will Quinton Jackson play B.A. Baracus in 'A-Team'?

Quinton Jackson

Reports currently spreading across the Web suggest UFC fighter Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson will be playing B.A. Baracus in Joe Carnahan's upcoming "The A-Team" flick. I would go easy on this and qualify it as a rumor until we get an official announcement, but that's what Yahoo! (via The Sun) has to say at this point.

Last thing I heard, several candidates for the role made famous by Mr. T were going through auditions, including The Game, Tyrese Gibson and even Ice Cube. Apparently, Jackson impressed the filmmakers the most. Like I said, it's not confirmed, but definitely possible.
