Ehren Kruger to adapt ‘Bullet’

Screenwriter Ehren Kruger is set to adapt Boston Teran’s novel “God is a Bullet,” according to Variety.

The story follows a California law-enforcement officer who goes undercover to rescue his kidnapped daughter from a bunch of dangerous criminals.

Bradley Bell, who acquired the rights to the novel, will produce the film with Daniel Bobker and Kruger.

“Bullet” is just one of many projects Kruger has been working on in Hollywood. He co-wrote the screenplay for Michael Bay’s “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” and Terry Gilliam’s “The Brothers Grim.”

He is also currently working on “The Keep,” which is based on a novel by Jennifer Egan. Kruger will also produce and direct that project.
