Brand-new 'Voyage of the Dawn Treader' trailer

The latest trailer for Michael Apted's upcoming 3D sequel "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" has arrived, and you can watch it above. "Treader" opens everywhere Dec. 10. 2010.

I admit I am not a big fan of the previous two films, so I'm not entirely stoked about No. 3 either. Some shots in this trailer do look great, but other visuals just look a tad too computer-generated, don't you think?

The cast, by the way, includes Ben Barnes, Skandar Keynes, Georgie Henley and Gary Sweet.

'Voyage of the Dawn Treader' trailer arrives

Dawn Treader

Let me tell you right off the bat: I am not a "Narnia" fan. I failed to enjoy the first films, and I admit I'm not very enthusiastic when it comes to looking forward to the next one, which opens Dec. 10, 2010.

A trailer for Michael Apted's "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" is now online, and if you have not seen it yet, go ahead and check it out after the jump. Any good? You be the judge.

Personally, I'm not intrigued by this preview at all, but as you know, I am a tad biased here. The story? Lucy and Edmund, with their dreadful cousin Eustace, get magically pulled into a painting of a ship at sea.

Colin Firth boards ‘Dorian Gray’

British actor Colin Firth has signed on to star opposite Ben Barnes in Oliver Parker’s “Dorian Gray,” an adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s classic novel “The Picture of Dorian Gray,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Barnes will play Dorian Gray, a young man who becomes the subject of a painting. As the man embarks on his quest for pleasure, the painting begins to change and age.

Firth is set to play Lord Henry Wotton, a ruthless aristocrat who corrupts Gray with his worldview.

Firth is currently onscreen in Universal’s “Mamma Mia!” He will next be seen alongside Uma Thurman in Griffin Dunne’s comedy “The Accidental Husband.”

Barnes is known best for his role as Prince Caspian in “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.” He also recently wrapped Stephan Elliott’s British comedy “Easy Virtue,” in which he stars opposite Jessica Biel and, coincidentally, Colin Firth.
