America Ferrera to star in ‘American Tragic’

“Ugly Betty” star America Ferrera’s next movie is a war drama entitled “American Tragic,” according to Latino Review.

George Roush reports the film “deals with the issues of returning soldiers from war.”

Although not much else is known at this point, Ferrera is expected to play the wife of a returning soldier who has trouble coping with his war experience.

The folks at Latino Review also got a hold of a teaser poster, which indicates Ferrera is also on board as an executive producer with Sergio Aguero.

Ferrera was last seen in “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2.”
