First image of Dori, Nori and Ori in 'Hobbit'

New Line Cinema has released a new image from Peter Jackson's upcoming adventure "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey." Check it out above, it's a shot of brothers Nori (Jed Brophy), Ori (Adam Brown) and Dori (Mark Hadlow).

No big action going on here, but that's fine for now. I'm just glad to see the production for this is in full swing. The first film will hit theaters Dec. 14, 2012, and "The Hobbit: There and Back Again" is set for release Dec. 13, 2013.

Martin Freeman, Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloom, Ian Holm, Christopher Lee and Hugo Weaving star in the films. I'm not a "Hobbit" expert, but from what I hear, Ori, Nori and Dori all have their own special characteristics that make them stand out.
