'Hunger Games' movie to be "steamier" than book

Anticipating the end of the global phenomenon that is the "Twilight" franchise, many studios are hoping to tap into the ocean of teenagers yearning for an unconventional love story.
With the stellar success of "The Hunger Games" novels and the buzz that has been generated for the film adaptation slated to hit theaters next year, many are expecting this series to become the next teen sensation.
It appears now that the filmmakers realize this too, because it is being reported that the love triangle that is largely absent from the first book will be beefed up for the film.
According to Life and Style Magazine (they claim to have read the script), scenes have been added to the film to "make the love triangle steamier and a bigger aspect early on in the franchise."
This is a difficult thing to hear. I have only read the first book, but I appreciated that the it didn't focus too much on the love story.
The characters are fighting for their life on live TV for crying out loud, and I don't know how they are going to amplify the love story without having it feel overly contrived. Anyway, "The Hunger Games" will kick off March 23, 2012.
