New writers for new 'Ninja Turtles' movie

Paramount Pictures is developing a live-action reboot of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," and it looks like the project has attracted new writers: Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec, the guys who recently tackled "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol."

Deadline says the two are now set to write "TMNT." Appelbaum and Nemec's credits include shows such as "Alias," "Life on Mars" and "Happy Town," and they also recently rewrote "Now You See Me," which Louis Leterrier will helm.

Appelbaum and Nemec are not the first writers brought on board to write the "Turtles" flick. John Fusco was first supposed to handle the job, but he was later replaced with Art Marcum and Matt Holloway. Guess they're out as well.
