Tom McCarthy to write 'Home Movies'

Tom McCarthy, who last directed "Win Win," is set to write DreamWorks' "Homes movies," a supernatural family comedy, according to THR. The story follows a man who is able to revisit and change moments of his life through his home movies.

Jared Stern was the original writer on the project. McCarthy, who is also an actor (credits include "Little Fockers," "Fair Game" and "Duplicity"), also wrote and directed "The Station Agent" (one of my favorite films out there) and "The Visitor."
