Evangeline Lily joins 'The Hobbit'

Keeping up with the constant bombardment of casting news for Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey," it looks as though two more actors have hopped on board.
Evangeline Lily, best known for her role on ABC's "Lost," as been confirmed as the Woodland elf Tauriel. After briefly explaining that her character's name means "daughter of Mirkwood" via Facebook, Jackson said nothing else of her role.
He also confirmed that Aussie comedian Barry Humphries will play the Goblin King. Jackson said, "Barry is also a fine actor, and we're looking forward to seeing him invest the Goblin King with the delicate sensitivity and emotional depth this character deserves."
"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" and "The Hobbit: There and Back Again" are slated for releases in 2012 and 2013. What do you think of these casting choices? (via Dark Horizons)
