'The Dark Knight Rises' viral campaign continues?

While the final chapter of Christopher Nolan's "Batman" trilogy isn't set to hit theaters until next year (long wait, unfortunately), the viral campaign is continuing to generate buzz for the film. So far, fans have been given a sneak peak at a picture of the film's villain Bane.

Many sites are reporting that mysterious videos have hit the web and may be a part of The "Dark Knight Rises" viral campaign. These videos were posted to YouTube by a user named TheFireRises, which is the hashtag that users needed to see the picture of Bane.

On top of this, one of the videos features a URL that takes you to The Fire Rises Facebook page. Although there has been no confirmation that these videos are authentic, these signs are leading people to believe that they are indeed part of the viral campaign.

Here are the videos. Do you think these are part of the campaign? Or just the work of a die hard fan?

26 seconds in on the second video... What is written on that yellowish piece of paper attached to a prisoner?

Also 12 seconds in on the last video a pink looking skull reflection can be seen to the bottom right of where it says " vigilante or hero".

Good call on the Vigilante or hero. I didn't notice that before. I know that there are some very creative fans out there but these videos sure do seem like they could be a part of the campaign. I just remember the elaborate lengths that they went to with the last film's campaign. The videos are really eerie. I don't know enough about Batman mythology to really know what these videos mean. Someone had said that Bane has to do something with a break out at Arkham Asylum. Maybe this has something to do with it?
