Michael Caine joins 'Center of the Earth' sequel

The great Michael Caine will embark on an adventure in "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island," the 3D sequel to "Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D." He joins Dwayne Johnson and Josh Hutcherson.

Heat Vision reports Caine is in final talks to board the film directed by Brad Peyton. In the film, Johnson and Hutcherson team up to travel to a mysterious island to find Hutcherson's granddad (Caine).

Caine is currently onscreen in "Inception." He recently starred in "Harry Brown." He also appeared in "The Dark Knight," "Sleuth," "Flawless" and "The Prestige." He will make this sequel better for sure!
