Jan de Bont back in aciton with 'Mulan'

Jan de Bont hasn't directed anything since 2003's adventure "Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life," but he will soon be back behind the camera to shoot Zhang Ziyi in a new version of "Mulan."
The Hollywood Reporter says De Bont will shoot the film this fall outside Shanghai. It's an English-language version about the heroine who joins a male army. John Blickstead penned the script.
Zhang Ziyi's credits include "Memoirs of a Geisha," "2046," "Hero," "Rush Hour 2" and "House of Flying Daggers." As for de Bont, he also helmed "Speed," "Twister" and "Speed 2: Cruise Control."
