Stephen Fry to play brother of 'Sherlock Holmes'

Stephen Fry

Guy Ritchie's "Sherlock Holmes 2" is still casting, and the latest to join the sequel is Stephen Fry, who will play Holmes' brother Mycroft. Fry recently confirmed the gig on BBC's The Danny Baker Show.

Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law will return in the flick, which also stars "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" actress Noomi Rapace. Warner Bros. is developing the sequel, which starts production this year.

In the sequel, Holmes will face off against Moriarty. Fry recently did the voice of Cheshire Cat in "Alice in Wonderland." Fry also directed "Bright Young Things" back in 2003. (via The Hollywood News)
