Who will direct the new 'Superman'?

It looks like the return of the Man of Steel is coming closer and closer. Christopher Nolan is developing the film with Warner Bros., and they're looking for a director for the film that marks the superhero's return.
Deadline reports a shortlist of candidates is out, and it includes Tony Scott, Matt Reeves, Jonathan Liebesman, Duncan Jones and Zack Snyder. That really is quit the line-up, right? But Tony Scott?
Personally, I would love to see Duncan Jones do this. He directed "Moon," and I am sure he can bring along an awesome vision. Matt Reeves would be a great choice too, to be honest. But Tony Scott?
David Goyer penned the script for "Superman," and Nolan developed the idea. I know we would all love to have him direct this reboot, but trust me, this won't be bad even if he sticks to the job as mentor/producer.
