Awesome! Chloe Moretz is 'Emily The Strange'

This is good news for sure! Chloe Moretz (Hit-Girl in "Kick-Ass") will be playing the title character in Universal's adaptation of the Dark Horse comic "Emily The Strange," which Rob Reger created.

Thats pretty much all we know about the project at this stage. Plot details are kept under wraps, but I heard Emily's cats will be in action as well. Reger created the "Emily The Strange" franchise in the '90s.

As for Moretz, she's the coolest young actress around. I had the chance to chat with her earlier this year, and I've seldomly met someone this young who's also an absolute professional in the movie business.

Moretz will return in "Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall." She also recently starred in "Diary of a Wimpy Kid," and she has "Let Me In" coming out soon. I hear she totally delivers the goods. (Source: Deadline)
