iPhone game 'Angry Birds' comes to big screen

Believe it or not, but I just downloaded "Angry Birds" for the iPhone this morning, and now I hear the game will be turned into a movie. Rovio, the creator of the game, aims to push "Birds" as much as possible.

It's a pretty straighforward game: players have a slingshot to throw angry birds at evil pigs that stole their eggs. Not deals for a movie have been made, but the game's creators are shopping it around town.

As an animated adventure, I could totally see this happen, as long as they create angry birds with cool characters and a bunch of heart. I also bet they'll throw some birds at cinemagoers in 3D. (Variety)
