Bruce Willis, Sigourney Weaver seek 'Cold Light'

Bruce Willis and Sigourney Weaver are gearing up to star in Summit Entertainment's upcoming thriller "The Cold Light of Day," which Mabrouk El Mekchri ("JCVD") will shoot in Europe later this year.

Deadline says the flm stars Henry Cavill ("The Tudors") as an American whose family is kidnapped in Spain. Willis could play his dad, who is hiding something. Weaver is in talks to play the film's villain.

Scott Wiper and John Petro penned the script, and Richard Price gave it a rewrite. Willis will soon be seen in "Red," while Weaver has "You Again," "Cedar Rapids" and "Ghostbusters III" coming up soon.
