'Curious George' swings back to big screen soon

Yep, Curious George is heading back to the big screen, and Illumination Entertainment (the studio behind the recent hit "Despicable Me") will develop the computer-animated family flick for Universal Pictures.

24 Frames says the film will be a reboot, and Larry Stuckey, who recently penned "Little Fockers," will write the script. The curious monkey was last seen in theaters in 2006. I guess this new one will be in 3D.

Since this flick will start from scratch, the story will probably show how George is taken out of the jungle and runs into all sorts of mayhem in the city. The 2006 film only grossed $58.3 million domestically.
