New poster and trailer for 'Let Me In"

The American remake of "Let the Right One In" is hitting theaters Oct. 1, 2010, and a new poster has been released on the Web, in addition to the trailer that premiered last week. See both of them below.

The poster is kind of mysterious, even though I admit they could've improved the top part of it. Something about the size and font of the Matt Reeves and "Cloverfield" writings just seems off. Not a good fit.

Other than that, I definitely like it. The trailer below also looks pretty good, although I'm sure the remake won't fully live up to the original. BUT... there's always a chance it will turn out solid enough, right?

The horror flick stars Kodi Smit-McPhee, Chloe Moretz, Richard Jenkins and Elias Koteas. Tomas Alfredson directed the original, which received worldwide critical acclaim. So... who's excited???
