Comic-Con teaser for 'Pirates of the Caribbean 4'

Count me among those who believe that "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" is completely unnecessary. It's headed our way anyway though, and below is the Comic-Con teaser...

So far, I'm pretty disappointed. I understand this is supposed to be a tease and all, but truth be told, it bored me. Oh, and I didn't laugh once. Not sure if it was meant to be funny, but this is not intriguing.

Anyway, "Stranger Tides" opens May 20, 2011. It will be released in 3D (yawn), and it stars Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, Geoffrey Rush, Ian McShane and Kevin McNally. Rob Marshall directed the sequel.

Well Franck with a c AND a k, who cares if you didn't sign off on this movie. It'll be entertaining, fun and worth seeing at the theaters and hopefully the beginning of a new trilogy. Face it, you peaked at whining about other people's work. if this was Speilberg blasting this I'd care, you're a douche blogger

Anthony, I see you must be a really smart guy. I recommend you check your spelling next time before whining about other people's work. Enough said...

Yeah, I think this will be extremely entertaining. They always are. I do love this site for the most part, but dislike the fact that you have already decided this flick will be a joke. To each his own i suppose!

Colin, none of my words above indicate that I believe this movie will be a joke. Heck, it may blow me away for all I know. Do I think yet another "Pirates" film is necessary? No. Could it be good? For all I know, it could be the best film of the year. All I'm saying above applies to the teaser/footage. That's all. It's not inventive, and I didn't think it's funny. Show us something else than Jack Sparrow sitting there. That's all...
