'Inception' dominates Monday box office!

Christopher Nolan's brilliant sci-fi action thriller "Inception" is on a roll. Not only did the movie received univerdsal acclaim from critics and cinemagoers, but it's also the No. 1 movie in America right now.

On top of that, "Inception" kicked off this week by scoring a superb $10.1 million Monday, which is quite a lot of moola for a weekday gross. The movie lifted its early domestic total gross to $72.9 million.

Coming in second was "Despicable Me," which bagged another solid $4.8 million for a total haul of $123.3 million. At No. 3, "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" earned $2.1 million for a cume of $26.8 million.

Finishing fourth Monday was "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," which pulled in $2 million for a cumulative gross of $266.8 million. "Toy Story 3" wrapped up the top five with a daily gross of $1.8 million.

Will "Inception" stand a chance against Angelina Jolie in "Salt"? Probably. Let's hope Nolan's masterpiece will continue to kick butt for a while. And if you have not seen it yet, what are you waiting for???
