New 'Secretariat' poster now online

Here's a simple but nice poster for Randall Wallace's upcoming Walt Disney adventure drama "Secretariat," which will be riding to theaters Oct. 8, 2010. See the full version right after the jump.

The cast for this one is promising, with Diane Lane leading the race. She will slip into the role of Penny Chenery, an American racehorse owner whose thoroughbred Secretariat won the 1973 Tripe Crown.

Chenery first stepped into the world of horses and racing when she took over her father’s horse farm in Virginia. She later became known as the “first lady of racing.” John Malkovich co-stars.
